Signing Up and Logging In

I forgot my password, how do I log in?
Click the red "I forgot my password" link in the upper right of any page. Enter the email address that you registered with and your password will be emailed to that address.

How do I change my email address or password?
Once you are logged in, you will be able to make changes to your profile by clicking the red "take me to my page" link at the top right of any page and then clicking "Edit Profile".
How do I set up my project (bands, studios, companes, and teams)?

  1. Ideally, have everyone involved create a user account on this site first. Although not essential, this can save you some time.

  2. One person logs in, goes to their page (the red "[take me to my page]" link), and clicks the "[CREATE NEW PROJECT]" button under their photo.

  3. After entering your project info, add the core members of your team. If someone only worked with you on a single job, do not add them on this page. If they already have accounts on this site, your finished project page will link to their user pages. However, even if they do not have accounts yet, you can still enter their name.
How do I post my art (songs, stories, and videos)?

  1. Log in, go to your page (the red "[take me to my page]" link), and look for the blue box titled "Post New Art". Select the appropriate option.

  2. Some tips for the "Art Details" area:

    • Title: Nothing but title. If you try to squeeze extra words or symbols in here to get peoples' attention, we will squeeze them right back out. This is what the "Description" area is for.

    • Description: Don't skimp on this. All most people will see of your submission is the title (which we are strict about), a small image, and your description. What should they expect? What went into creating it? Why did you create it?

    • Image: This is normally displayed at between 50x50 to 150x150 pixels. However, when clicked on, the full and original size is displayed.

  3. Some tips for the "Art Contributors" area:

    • List everyone. List the people who created the art. List the people who helped. List the people who offered moral support. Writers: list your proof readers, editors, and cover artists. Musicians: list your roadies, sound techs, and street team. Film makers: That's right- craft services!.

    • Get the right projects. Just because you produced the art with your team doesn't mean everyone involved did. Be accurate with the affiliations.

    • Be as detailed with roles as with the people. Any new roles that you create will be added to the "Browse Artists" directory.
